Making a request
HyperDeck Panel uses the 'GET' method for a majority of requests. By simply knowing how to format the structure for a request, you can program external control platforms to interact with HDP and your Hyperdecks.
There is a simple formula for making a request→
deck-> 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ...
cmd-> rec Record stop Stop play Play rw Rewind ff Fast Forward trkbk Track Back trkfw Track Forward rem Remote Enable
What does all this mean? Essentally, any third-party hardware capable of making an HTTP Request can interact with HyperDeck Panel, and thus your hyperdecks. This includes things like Crestron, Q-sys, and even Amazon Alexa.
You can set up triggers from IFTTT to send commands to your hyperdeck based on voice commands from an Amazon Alexa or Google Home, by pointing an IFTTT webhook request to your external WAN and port forwarding to the computer running HyperDeck Panel
